About the bureau

Filed,
not floated.

Standard Bureau is a five-partner operations, technology, and AI firm. We scope work in writing, record decisions, and put one partner in charge of every engagement.

Why a bureau

We do the homework before prescribing technology

Technology work gets expensive when teams choose tools before they understand the operation. We map the job first. Then we decide whether to change the process, modernize the system, or build software.

Our process is deliberately old-fashioned. We define the scope before work starts, record decisions during delivery, and leave clients with a system they can operate.

The partners

Five partners, one working team

Each engagement uses a different mix of the five partners. One of us owns the work from the first meeting through delivery and remains answerable for the result. These are the people who do the work, not a sales team handing it to someone else.

The working model

The people who start the work stay involved

The partners who lead discovery stay involved through delivery. We keep the team small, show working material early, and record decisions as we make them.

At the start

Partner-led discovery

The person shaping the engagement hears the work directly from the people who do it.

During delivery

Working material early

Maps, prototypes, copy, and software arrive early enough to change course without ceremony.

After launch

An accountable owner

A named partner stays responsible for support, repair, and the next decision.
